The City of Quinte West says a water main break in the Trenton area is affecting customers in the “Trenton drinking water system.”
In a brief release the afternoon of Thursday, Feb. 6, 2025, the city stated that crews are working to isolate and repair the water main, and said more information will be provided as it becomes available.
MBC reached out to the city asking for more details, including where the break is and whether officials could elaborate on the impacts; however, the spokesperson only reiterated what was issued in the formal release and statements on social media.
