Public works crews in Brighton say they’re still working on cleanup following last night’s dumping of snow – and ahead of another blast of winter anticipated this weekend.
In an update around 4 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 13, 2025, the Municipality of Brighton said its public works staff continue to clear roads, sidewalks and parking lots after last night’s snowfall – and they’re preparing for additional snow expected on the weekend.
Meanwhile, staff noted that snow removal from the downtown and Elizabeth Street areas has been slated for next week depending on the weather.
Staff added that crews will continue to remove excess snow from cul-de-sacs on an as needed basis.
“We thank residents for their co-operation, patience and understanding during winter operations,” said staff.
