Habitat for Humanity Northumberland’s Sunday Dinner in the ReStore has sold out faster than ever ahead of its April 13 event.
The highly anticipated fundraiser, now in its fifth year, reached capacity before full marketing efforts even began.
“We’re thrilled that we have once again sold out in record time,” says CEO Cathy Borowec. “It’s amazing to see so many people who want to attend and continue to support our programs.”
Sponsorship packages, which included tickets, were released in early February and quickly purchased, leaving only a few individual tickets available. Those were swiftly claimed by newsletter subscribers upon announcement.
Since its launch, the event has raised over $70,000 to support Habitat’s affordable housing projects, including the current seven-unit net-zero townhome build in Baltimore.
This year’s theme, Spring Thyme, will be reflected in both the décor and the three-course meal prepared by Prep Food Co. Guests will also have the opportunity to participate in an expanded silent auction featuring donations from businesses across Northumberland County.
Major sponsors include Part Time CFO Services, Jacqueline Pennington Re/Max, and Borowec Inc., with additional support from local businesses contributing to wine, dessert, and auction sponsorships.
