With another Canada Post strike looming, the Municipality of Brighton is reminding residents that e-billing is an option.
Municipal staff say registering for e-billing is a quick, convenient, and an environmentally-friendly way to get statements directly delivered to inboxes.
Registering for e-billing services can be done by calling the municipality at 613-475-0670 or by visiting the Municipal Centre at 35 Alice St., or online via Brighton’s website.
Residents needing help or who have questions are encouraged to call the municipal office.
As previously reported, a strike notice was issued on Monday, May 19, 2025, and is currently slated to take effect Friday, May 23 at 12 a.m. if an agreement isn’t reached with the union representing more than 55,000 postal workers before.
This would mark the second shutdown in the last six months or so.
