The SkyHawks are set to light up the skies in Trenton this weekend.
The Canadian Armed Forces’ Parachute Team – and the nation’s only military parachute team – is set to put on a demonstration this Saturday, May 24, at 7 p.m., with a performance near the soccer fields in Centennial Park.
Those looking to take in the show are being encouraged to arrive at 6:45 p.m., with the official jump slated for 7 p.m. However, the demonstration is weather-dependent.
The SkyHawks team kicked off its 2025 season on May 8 with a “Victory in Europe Day Celebration” in Port Perry.
If you miss out this weekend, there will be more local opportunities later this summer with events in Belleville on June 13, 14 and 22.
The SkyHawks will be back performing at CFB Trenton on July 22.
The team wows audiences across North America at airshows, sporting events and festivals annually with their aerobatic parachute formations in the sky. A full schedule is accessible online.
Worldwide, the team has performed for more than 75 million spectators, according to the Government of Canada.
While initially an unofficial team at the time, their very first performance dates back to June 14, 1969, at CFB Petawawa.
