Dundas Street West sidewalk replacement work is getting underway in Quinte West starting this coming Monday, June 9.
The City of Quinte says work is set to start Monday, with construction lasting about three weeks.
Starting Monday, the city says work will get underway on the north sidewalk along Dundas, between McColl Street and Maclellan Avenue, and the south sidewalk, between Farley Crescent and Film Street.
“The existing sidewalks and boulevards are a combination of concrete and asphalt,” note city staff. “This project will replace the current sidewalks in this area with extra-wide, concrete sidewalks.”
Staff say temporary sidewalk closures will be in effect in these work areas for about three weeks during construction.
