An investigation is continuing into a multi-vehicle collision on Hamilton Road, north of CFB Trenton, which sent two people to a regional trauma centre.
However, just before 3 p.m., OPP issued an update about their on-site investigation, saying vehicles were being removed and that Hamilton Road should reopen shortly.
An emergency road closure was put in place earlier following reports of the crash just after 11 a.m. on Monday, June 16 between Aikins Road and Jeffrey Drive. Officials were earlier asking people to avoid the area.
In OPP’s latest update, police said injuries have been determined to be serious, but not life-threatening.
No other details have been released.
