A 50-year-old Codrington man is facing charges after an alleged road rage incident involving mischief, says Northumberland OPP.
According to police, officers responded to a report of a dispute between two drivers on County Road 30 just before 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 27, 2025.
“Both vehicles had pulled off the roadway, and one individual was reported to have caused damage to the other’s vehicle,” said police.
Upon arrival, police took one person into custody – further investigation allegedly revealed the accused was also suspended from driving.
As a result of the investigation, police said the accused was charged with mischief under $5,000 and driving while under suspension.
None of these charges have been proven in court. The accused also had their vehicle impounded for seven days, reported OPP.
No other details were released by police.
