A portion of Old Wooler Road in Quinte West will be closed next week as work gets underway on a drainage culvert replacement, says the city.
The work will impact Old Wooler Road from Stacey Road to County Road 5 starting Wednesday, June 25 through to Friday, June 27, 2025, said the city.
This stretch of road will be open to local traffic only and will be accessible from both ends of the construction area – all through-traffic will be detoured, explained city staff.
In terms of detours, westbound traffic will be sent northeast to County Road 5, west of Jamieson Road and south onto Stacey Road. Meanwhile, eastbound traffic will be detoured north onto Stacey, east onto Jamieson, and southwest onto County Road 5.
