Campbellford Memorial Hospital (CMH) is setting its sights on the future, unveiling a bold new strategic plan and refreshed brand identity that will guide its work through 2030 and beyond.
Launched on June 17, the new plan outlines a vision for transformative rural healthcare and was developed through extensive engagement with staff, physicians, healthcare partners and the community.
It’s built on four strategic pillars: modernizing service delivery, advancing the workplace through inclusivity and wellness, pushing the boundaries of rural care, and building for tomorrow.
President and CEO Jeff Hohenkerk says the plan represents both vision and action.
“Our Best. Every Day., isn’t just a tagline, it’s our commitment to each other, our patients, and our community,” said Hohenkerk. “It’s a symbol of progress and possibility … toward a stronger, more connected, and more innovative future in rural healthcare.”
While a new hospital remains part of the plan, CMH’s strategy is focused on people and progress. The hospital aims to enhance care quality, create a thriving work culture, and meet the needs of the rural population it serves.
As part of the announcement, CMH also revealed a new logo that features a rising sun over green hills-symbolising a new era in healthcare, rooted in the agricultural identity of the region and its community ties.
