
A citizen tip has helped Northumberland OPP recover a stolen travel trailer.
The trailer was previously reported stolen from a property on 12th Line East on June 29, 2025, with the theft believed to have occurred between June 25 at 3 p.m. and June 27 at 5 p.m.
In terms of the latest, police now say that thanks to a tip from a member of the public, on July 4, the camper trailer was found at a vacant property off Logging Trail Road in the Municipality of Trent Hills.
However, no one was inside or found around the trailer at the time of the recovery, say police.
Police are thanking the public for its help with returning the trailer to its rightful owner.
Meanwhile, the investigation into the theft is ongoing.
