OPP has laid charges following a serious collision last month in Quinte West.
The crash happened on Monday, June 16, around 11 a.m. on Hamilton Road. Officers with Quinte West OPP, the crime unit, and Quinte West firefighters responded to the scene, which involved multiple vehicles.
Police said one driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries. Three other people sustained minor injuries.
As a result of the investigation, police said a 41-year-old resident of Quinte West was charged with dangerous operation causing bodily harm, dangerous operation of a vehicle, and driving left of centre while approaching a hill.
None of these charges have been proven in court. The accused is due in Belleville court on July 24, 2025.
