Last week, police reported two arrests as a result of the investigation involving a 20-year-old Scarborough resident and a 20-year-old Toronto resident, who were both charged with theft under $5,000 – shoplifting.
As previously reported, back in October 2024, police received a report of a theft from a Toronto Street Colborne business, after several individuals allegedly stole about $865 worth of liquor.
On Sept. 10, 2025, two individuals were initially located and arrested. On Sept. 12, a third individual was taken into custody, reported OPP, on Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2025.
As a result of the investigation, police said another 20-year-old Toronto resident was charged with theft under $5,000 – shoplifting.
None of these charges have been proven in court. All three of the accused will appear in Cobourg court in October.
