There’s still time to get involved and help with Brighton’s Santa Claus Parade.
Whether you’re looking to put in a float or get involved with a “paint the plow” event, you have options.
This year’s parade is set for Nov. 21, starting at 7 p.m. But before then, you can help decorate one of the plow trucks for the parade on Saturday, Nov. 15.
Municipal staff say no artistic experience is needed, and all materials are provided for folks to participate.
While the date is weather dependent, it’s a drop-in-style format and people can simply swing by between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Nov. 15 at the Sanford Street municipal parking lot by Sobey’s to participate.
The grand reveal will be during the parade.
As a reminder, road closures will be in place starting at 6:30 p.m. for the duration of the parade on Nov. 21.
Parade registration information is accessible online via the municipality’s website.
