Northumberland County residents are being welcomed to say hello to the new executive face of health care in the region.
Community Care Northumberland has appointed Jordan Prosper as its next chief executive officer following an extensive search process.
Prosper brings more than 16 years of leadership experience in Ontario’s community health sector, most recently serving as executive director at Routes Connecting Communities in York Region. His background includes oversight of more than 30 community-based programs, ranging from transportation and Meals on Wheels to hospice services and adult day programs.
CCN says Prosper has led major initiatives in strategic planning, accreditation, digital transformation and partnership development. His career also includes roles with nearby Community Care City of Kawartha Lakes, the Canadian Cancer Society and the R.S. McLaughlin Durham Regional Cancer Centre.
His appointment coincides with the departure of longtime CEO Trish Baird, whose 36-year tenure helped shape the organization’s service model and community impact across Northumberland County.
Prosper will assume the role on December 22, 2025.
