A Port Hope woman is facing charges after Cobourg police say they responded to a report of a possible impaired driver.
According to the Cobourg Police Service, officers responded to the call at about 11 a.m. on Dec. 3, 2025.
After locating the vehicle, police said a 42-year-old Port Hope woman was stopped and allegedly failed a roadside test, resulting in an arrest and a trip to the police station.
The accused was charged with operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs, and operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus.)
None of these charges have been proven in court. The accused also had her licence suspended for 90 days, and the vehicle impounded for seven days.
