A Prince Edward County resident accused of refusing to provide a breath sample after a traffic stop has been charged, say police.
Prince Edward County OPP said on Dec. 30, 2025, at about 7:45 p.m., officers initiated a traffic stop in the County Road 10 area.
As a result of the investigation, police said a 24-year-old Prince Edward County resident was charged with failure or refusal to comply with a demand for a breath sample.
This charge has not been proven in court.
The accused will appear in court on Jan. 14 and also had their licence suspended for 90 days and the vehicle impounded for a week.
Police continue to call on citizens to report suspected impaired driving by calling 911.
