Northumberland County council will have two special meetings later this month to conduct interviews for a new CAO.
As previously reported, Glenn Dees was appointed as the county’s interim chief administrative officer (CAO) after a special council meeting back on Oct. 1, which followed the departure of long-time CAO Jennifer Moore.
Northumberland County has now confirmed that two special meetings are in the works for Jan. 27 and 30, both of which will start at 9 a.m. and are for the purposes of meeting in closed session regarding CAO recruitment interviews.
Additional information, including Zoom details and links, is accessible online. However, when council is meeting in closed session there is no public access, and the livestream will indicate this.
County staff noted that agendas are generally available online four business days ahead of a meeting.
