Northumberland OPP says a Trent Hills woman is facing charges after an investigation into reported threats.
Police said a resident reported receiving unwanted communications containing threats from a family member starting in late October 2025. The investigation led to the arrest of a 20-year-old woman from the Municipality of Trent Hills on Jan. 6, 2026, reported OPP.
The accused is charged with uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm and harassing communications. None of these charges have been proven in court.
The accused is scheduled to appear in Cobourg court in February. Police said the accused will not be named to protect the identity of the victim.
