The Children’s Safety Village of Belleville has been selected as a recipient of proceeds from the Quinte Home Builders’ Association 2025 Builders Golf Classic, providing a boost to safety education programs for children and youth in the region.
Funds raised through the annual tournament will directly support the delivery of hands-on, interactive safety education. Programming focuses on practical skills such as fire safety, internet safety, bicycle safety, and emergency preparedness, helping children build confidence and awareness in real-world situations.
The Children’s Safety Village uses immersive learning environments designed to reflect everyday settings, allowing students to practice safe decision-making in a controlled and engaging way. Since its founding, the organization has reached tens of thousands of children through school-based visits and community programming.
Organizers say partnerships with community groups and local industries play an important role in keeping these programs sustainable and accessible. Support from the Builders Golf Classic helps ensure that schools and families can continue to access safety education that is free or low-cost.
The Quinte Home Builders’ Association’s annual golf tournament brings together certified members, business leaders, and community partners in support of local charitable initiatives. The association has been a long-standing supporter of the Children’s Safety Village, contributing to its ability to expand programming and maintain operations.
The Children’s Safety Village acknowledged the association, along with tournament participants and sponsors, for helping strengthen community safety and investing in education that aims to prevent injuries and promote lifelong safety awareness among children.
