TUESDAY, FEB. 10:
TUESDAY BREAKFAST IN CODRINGTON: Swing by at 9 a.m. to show your support for the Codrington Community Association at the Codrington Community Centre and enjoy a homemade breakfast. Cost is $8 and helps the CCA with its free yearly events.
PARENT AND TOT SKATE: Runs 10 to 11 a.m. at the King Edward Park Arena.
ADULT SKATE: Have the ice all to yourself from 11 a.m. to noon.
HOMESCHOOL SCIENCE FAIR: Running 2 to 4 p.m., young scientists of all ages share their discoveries at the Brighton Public Library.
ENSS BOYS GAME: Happening 1:30 to 3 p.m. at Brighton’s King Edward Park Arena.
THE STORY OF GEORGE GIBSON’S SCHOONER: Swing by to learn more from Brighton’s “History Guy” Dan Buchanan from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
WEDNESDAY, FEB. 11:
KNITCETERA: Calling all yarn enthusiasts! Drop in and share your projects and passions. All fibre artists are welcome, as well as those looking to learn. The fun runs at the Brighton Public Library from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. No registration needed.
SENIOR SKATE: Hit the ice from 2 to 3 p.m. at Brighton’s King Edward Park Arena.
PUBLIC SKATING: Everyone is welcome from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at Brighton’s arena.
LOCAL SPORTS: Support our teams!
TUESDAY, FEB. 10:
The Trenton Golden Hawks take on the Markham Royals on home ice at 7:30.
The Picton Pirates are at home taking on the Port Hope Panthers. Game time is 7:30.
There’s also Brighton minor hockey at King Edward from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Brighton’s Cold Creek Comets are on the ice from 7:30 to 10 p.m. at King Edward.
WEDNESDAY, FEB. 11:
The Trent Hills Thunder take on the Napanee Raiders on the road. The puck drops at 8 p.m.
