Police say a 21-year-old Belleville man has been charged after an intimate partner violence investigation.
According to the Belleville Police Service, on Tuesday, Feb. 10, at about 2:44 a.m., officers responded to a west-end residence for a domestic dispute report.
It was reported that a verbal argument between a man and woman had escalated, during which the man allegedly bit the woman and pushed another woman, said police.
As a result of the investigation, police said a 21-year-old Belleville man was arrested and charged with two counts of assault.
None of these charges have been proven in court.
The accused was released on an undertaking and will appear in court in March.
