The Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation will host its first-ever fundraising pickleball tourney later this month.
The tournament is set for Saturday, Feb. 28 at the Pickleplex Social Club in Belleville from noon to 8 p.m.
The tourney is open to players of all skills levels and will feature multiple leagues grouped by ability to ensure fair, competitive and fun play, say organizers.
Registration details are available online, but participants can register for mixed doubles, men’s or women’s doubles, with divisions for various skill levels (as space permits.)
All proceeds are going towards the purchase of a new ECG machine at Trenton Memorial Hospital. This equipment helps monitor a heart’s electrical activity and helps doctors identify heart issues early, add organizers.
