The Municipality of Brighton is reminding property owners that the first installment of the 2026 interim tax bill is due Friday, February 27.
Residents have several payment options available. Payments can be made through online or telephone banking, directly at a financial institution, or through a pre authorized payment plan.
In person payments are also accepted at the Municipal Administration Office located at 35 Alice Street. The municipality accepts cash, cheque and debit in person, and notes that cash should not be placed in the outdoor drop box.
Property owners can also pay by Visa through the municipal website.
Municipal officials are encouraging residents to consider registering for e billing services to receive future tax notices electronically. The municipality says e billing offers a convenient and environmentally friendly way to receive statements directly in your inbox.
For more information about tax payments, billing options, or to sign up for e billing, residents are encouraged to visit the Municipality of Brighton website.
