Brighton’s rural advisory committee will be getting down to business later today (Thursday, Feb. 26.)
The committee will be tackling discussion around a town hall meeting requested for this spring and an update around the Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT) hearing for the CBM subdivision in Codrington.
Also on the agenda are updates relating to phases 1 and 2 regarding funding and work, including a completion date, for high-speed internet rollout, as well as plans and/or proposals for hard-topping on rural roads.
An update around a staff report relating to private road funding is also supposed to be discussed.
These committee meetings are open to the public, but have to be attended in-person at 35 Alice St.
The meeting gets underway in council chambers at 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
