To help tackle community priorities and growth in Brighton, the municipality is calling on residents to have their say.
Currently, the Municipality of Brighton is undertaking a review of its official plan and zoning bylaw.
“To help guide this work, we are seeking input from residents, businesses, landowners and others with a connection to the community,” explained municipal staff. “Your participation will help us understand the community’s priorities and concerns as Brighton continues to grow and change.”
Mayor Brian Ostrander has also called on residents to get involved in this process, stressing these documents will ultimately shape the future of the community and development. He called residents’ input “essential.”
Brightonians looking to have their say have until March 31 to complete an online or hard-copy survey.
The survey includes 20-plus questions and is accessible online or by picking up a physical copy at the Municipal Office at 35 Alice St. or public works at 67 Sharp Rd.
