The Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation’s 5th March Madness challenge has returned to support the hospital’s ER expansion.
The challenge runs until the end of this month and means $1 for every featured menu item sold at participating restaurants will be donated directly to the multi-million-dollar emergency room expansion project.
“Every bite makes a difference – every dollar supports the future of emergency care at Trenton Memorial Hospital,” says organizers.
If you’re looking to get involved, here are this year’s participating restaurants and featured items:
- Mozza sticks at Boston Pizza.
- Tacos with any classic protein at Burrito Guyz.
- Side tomato soup at the Counter Restaurant.
- Soft serve ice cream in a waffle cone at Curley’s Fries and Ice Cream.
- Smoked meat sandwich at Eggsmart.
- Bulgogi at Gogi Korean Grill.
- The “don’t get too smashed burger” at Josh’s Diner.
- Any large pizza at Little Caesars Pizza.
- Three-piece chicken meal at Mary Brown’s Chicken.
- McChicken meal at the Trenton Town Centre McDonald’s.
- Regular chicken burrito at Mucho Burrito.
- Crispy chicken sandwich at Smylie’s Your Independent Grocer.
- Any dessert at Tomasso’s Italian Grille.
- Spinach and artichoke dip or Joe’s babyback ribs and chicken tenders at Shoeless Joe’s Sports Grill.
- Any signature pizza at Papa’s Pizzaland.
- Any large specialty pizzas at Topper’s Pizza.
- And the chicken rancher sub at Subway.
Residents who visit one of the 17 participating restaurants and take part in the challenge are also encouraged to share their participation online and post photos of their meals using #TMHFMarchMadness for a chance to be featured on the foundation’s social media channels.
