After following up a report of an unknown person inside a Prince Edward County home, police say they’ve made an arrest in a break-and-enter investigation.
According to OPP, on March 29, 2026, at about 4:30 p.m., a homeowner contacted police to report that an unknown individual was inside their home. The individual allegedly fled the residence and was subsequently arrested, added police.
As a result of the probe, police said a 30-year-old Prince Edward County man was charged with unlawfully being in a dwelling and two counts of breach of probation.
None of these charges have been proven in court.
The accused is due in court on July 8, 2026, reported OPP.
