Smile Cookie Week is returning to Campbellford later this month, with this year’s campaign focused on supporting the development of a new local hospital.
The annual fundraiser will run from April 27 to May 3 at the Tim Hortons location on Grand Road, where 100 per cent of proceeds from every Smile Cookie sold will go to the Campbellford Memorial Hospital Foundation.
Organizers say the funds will help advance plans for a new Campbellford Memorial Hospital, aimed at providing modern, purpose built health care facilities and improving access to care for residents in Trent Hills and surrounding communities.
The project is part of broader efforts to strengthen health care services in the region and ensure patients can receive care closer to home.
Smile Cookie Week has become a well known community initiative, bringing together residents, businesses, and organizations to support local causes. This year, the campaign offers another opportunity for the community to contribute to long term health care infrastructure.
Cookies are priced at two dollars each, with all proceeds directed to the hospital foundation. Bulk ordering options are also available, allowing workplaces and community groups to participate in the campaign.
Organizers say community support plays a key role in advancing projects like the new hospital, helping ensure future health care needs can be met locally.
