The Central Lakes Association of REALTORS® is celebrating national recognition for its chief executive officer.
Wendy Giroux has been awarded the Association Executives Network Award of Excellence by the Canadian Real Estate Association, recognizing exceptional leadership, service, and contributions within the REALTOR® community.
The award was presented during CREA’s annual general meeting in Ottawa.
CLAR officials say Giroux brings more than 15 years of experience and has played a key role in advancing the real estate profession through advocacy, collaboration, and innovation.
Her leadership was instrumental in the integration of multiple associations to form the Central Lakes Association of REALTORS®, marking one of the most significant organizational transformations in Ontario’s real estate sector.
Beyond organizational leadership, Giroux has also been an advocate for REALTORS® at all levels of government and a mentor to fellow association executives.
She has also supported community initiatives through her involvement with Ontario REALTORS Care® Foundation programs and local charitable efforts.
CLAR President Christine Riley says Giroux’s leadership helped create a model that balances the unique identities of individual associations while building a stronger, unified voice.
The Association Executives Network Award of Excellence is presented to individuals who demonstrate outstanding service and a lasting impact on association management and the profession.
CLAR officials say they are proud to recognize Giroux’s contributions and celebrate her continued leadership in shaping the future of the real estate community across Ontario and beyond.
