Just a quick note from the Municipality of Brighton that the recent rainfall has had an impact on sports fields and ball diamonds. Officials are asking the public and organized user groups to remain off the fields and infields for the time being to prevent damage and ensure they’re safe and useable for the upcoming season.
Parks staff are working to prepare the fields and diamonds for regular play starting after the long-weekend, weather and ground conditions permitting.
