Work continues on the Trenton trunk sewer project, and will temporarily shut down Albert Street Friday, May 15.
According to the City of Quinte West, Albert Street in the downtown will be closed Friday between Dundas Street West and Fraser Park Drive between 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
“The road will be closed to all traffic, including emergency vehicles and the on-street parking spaces and sidewalk along Albert Street will be unavailable during the closure period,” said the city.
The closure is needed for crews to conduct test pits and hydro excavation to confirm the location of buried utility connections as part of the infrastructure project, said the city.
