About 500 residents in the west end of Trenton will be impacted by a planned Hydro One power outage on the morning of Monday, May 25.
The outage is expected to last between 9 a.m. to noon in the neighbourhoods around Tripp Bouelvard, Parkview Heights and Appledene Drive, south of St. Paul Catholic Secondary School and St. Peter Catholic School, said city officials.
Residents impacted should have been contacted directly through Hydro One’s automated phone system.
However, officials are reminding residents that Hydro One’s outage map online is another tool available.
Hydro One is encouraging customers to turn off all appliances and ensure cellphones are fully charged before the outage. Residents should also keep fridges and freezer doors closed for as long as possible to avoid spoilage, added officials.
