A special meeting is in the works today (Wednesday, May 27) for Brighton council to take an economic development familiarization tour.
According to the Municipality of Brighton, the special council meeting has been called for this sole purpose and the rolling meeting will take council to meet with several area business leaders.
Council will start by boarding a tour bus at 35 Alice St. at 8:15 a.m., according to the meeting agenda, and then head out for a North Gate Organics Farm tour.
After about a half-hour, council will then visit Mike and Lori’s Garden from about 9:30 to 10:15 a.m.
The bus will then take council to the White Ash Glass Studio and finally for a Timbr studio tour before returning to the Municipal Centre at about 12:30 p.m. for lunch in council chambers, the agenda reads.
