The City of Belleville has launched a new parking ticket portal, saying this shift is part of its efforts to modernize services and improve the efficiency of parking ticket administration and payment processing.
The city’s new portal officially came online as of Monday, June 1 and is accessible through the city’s website.
However, officials noted that as part of the new process, recently issued tickets might not be available for payment right away.
“Residents are asked to allow up to two business days for processing before attempting to pay a ticket online,” said the city, in a recent release.
The upgraded platform is supposed to support more “streamlined internal administration and financial processing while continuing to provide convenient online access to parking ticket payments.”
