A section of Dundas Street West in Trenton will be closed to vehicle traffic Sunday to accommodate the annual Larry Young Memorial Father’s Day Car Show.
The closure will be in effect from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on June 21, affecting Dundas Street West between Division Street and Front Street, the City of Quinte West said in a notice issued Tuesday.
Westbound traffic travelling from the Veterans Skyway Bridge will be detoured onto Front Street, while eastbound traffic will be redirected to Division Street.
The car show is hosted by Quinte Transit and is a longstanding Father’s Day event in the community.
Motorists are advised to plan alternate routes and allow extra travel time while the event is underway.
The city also noted that Fraser Park Drive remains closed as work continues on the Trenton trunk sewer project.
