The Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation has launched a new awareness campaign designed to highlight the connection between community support and healthcare in West Northumberland.
The campaign, called Community Lives Here, focuses on the impact local donations have on patient care at Northumberland Hills Hospital and the role the hospital plays throughout the community.
Foundation CEO Rhonda Cunningham says the campaign reflects the organization’s belief that community support is at the heart of everything it does.
“Our community’s impact can be seen, felt, and heard inside our hospital in the donor-funded medical equipment and technology that is essential to delivering modern healthcare,” Cunningham said.
The campaign officially launched with a new video featuring members of the Northumberland Hills Hospital team delivering care alongside equipment purchased through community donations. The video is available through the foundation’s website and social media channels.
The foundation says the campaign will continue throughout the year, with future features highlighting the experiences of patients and families who have benefited from care supported by donor-funded equipment and technology.
Campaign messaging has also been incorporated into new displays throughout the hospital, including elevator wraps on the main floor and a large exterior banner on the south side of the building.
Foundation officials say the goal is to help community members see the direct connection between their generosity and the care available at Northumberland Hills Hospital.
More information about the campaign, donor impact and current funding priorities is available through the Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation website.
