The Auxiliary to Campbellford Memorial Hospital is celebrating another successful fundraiser after its annual Par for Progress Golf Tournament raised $37,500 to support local health care.
The tournament, held May 30 at Warkworth Golf Club, brought together golfers, volunteers, sponsors and community supporters for a day of friendly competition, with proceeds benefiting equipment, services and programs at Campbellford Memorial Hospital.
Tournament convenor Amy Taylor said the event holds special meaning for her family, noting they have experienced firsthand the importance of having access to medical equipment and treatment close to home. She thanked everyone who helped make the tournament a success.
Auxiliary President Liz Mathewson said the strong turnout demonstrates the community’s continued commitment to ensuring high-quality health care remains available close to home.
The Auxiliary also recognized title sponsor IG Wealth Management, along with numerous local businesses and organizations whose financial support helped make the event possible. Organizers extended special thanks to volunteers and the golfers whose participation ultimately led to the fundraiser’s success.
Past President Jill Stewart said the tournament is about more than a day on the golf course, bringing the community together around a shared commitment to supporting local health care.
The Auxiliary says every dollar raised will be invested directly into equipment, services and programs that benefit patients receiving care at Campbellford Memorial Hospital.
The Par for Progress Golf Tournament has become one of the Auxiliary’s signature fundraising events, helping ensure the hospital can continue providing high-quality care to residents across Trent Hills and the surrounding area.
