A new temporary ServiceOntario centre is now open in Brighton, ensuring residents and local businesses continue to have access to essential provincial government services.
The temporary centre is located at 95 Dundas Street, co-located with the Ministry of Agriculture building and the Ontario Provincial Police station.
The location is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to noon, and again from 1 to 4 p.m.
The new centre is intended to provide continued access to ServiceOntario services while minimizing any disruption for residents following the transition from the previous location.
Local officials welcomed the move and thanked the provincial government for taking swift action to ensure continuity of service in the community.
The statement also recognized Minister Stephen Crawford, the Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement, and Northumberland–Peterborough South MPP David Piccini for responding to the community’s needs.
Officials say the new temporary location will help ensure residents and businesses can continue to conveniently access the provincial services they rely on.
The centre’s regular weekday hours are 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. at 95 Dundas Street in Brighton.
