Brighton Council will hold a special meeting Today to discuss the municipality’s Land Bank Vision Program.
The meeting is scheduled for 4 p.m. at the Brighton Municipal Office.
Council is expected to move into closed session to discuss matters related to the Land Bank and Vision Program initiative.
The municipality says the closed session will be held under Section 239 of the Ontario Municipal Act.
The cited exceptions include a proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality, as well as a position, plan, procedure, criteria or instruction to be used in negotiations carried out by or on behalf of the municipality.
The closed session is specifically identified as relating to the Land Bank Program and Vision Program.
The meeting is being held in person at the Brighton Municipal Office.
