STUFF TO DO
Tuesday: Starting at 3 p.m., Sew Fun gives kids ages 8 to 12 a chance to try their hand at sewing, build new skills, and take on a different project each week—with all the materials provided. It’s a relaxed, creative way to spend an afternoon making something new and discovering a hobby they can enjoy for years to come at the Brighton Public Library on Alice Street in Brighton.
Tuesday: Starting at 9 a.m., the Guided Walks in Ferris Provincial Park are a great way to explore the trails with a group while learning more about the area’s natural beauty and history. The walks happen rain or shine, so lace up your hiking shoes and enjoy a morning outdoors meeting at the east end of the Suspension Bridge at Ferris Provincial Park in Campbellford.
Wednesday: Starting at 6:30 p.m., Concerts in the Park is the perfect way to spend a summer evening, with the Brighton All Star Band taking the stage for a free performance filled with great music and a relaxed community atmosphere. Bring a lawn chair or blanket, settle in with friends and neighbours, and enjoy another night of live entertainment at Memorial Park in downtown Brighton.
Wednesday: Starting at 6:30 p.m., Melodies at the Park brings a summer evening of traditional country music to Campbellford, with Stephanie Dauncy & Double Trouble taking the stage for a night of live music and good company. Bring a lawn chair, settle in, and enjoy the sounds of the season at Old Mill Park on Grand Road in Campbellford.
