Three people are facing charges after police seized suspected drugs, a firearm and other items during a search of a Trenton home.
Ontario Provincial Police say members of the East Region Community Street Crime Unit, Emergency Response Team, Canine Unit and Quinte West Detachment executed a search warrant Thursday evening at a residence on George Street.
Police say they seized a .22-calibre firearm, a crossbow, Canadian currency, more than 80 grams of suspected cocaine and other items associated with drug trafficking.
Andrea Pelrine, 30, of Campbellford, Zackary Dixon, 30, of Quinte West, and Tara Dixon, 53, of Quinte West have each been charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, along with several other drug and weapons-related offences.
Tara Dixon was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Belleville court at a later date. Pelrine and Zackary Dixon were held for bail hearings.
