Job seekers and employers from across the Bay of Quinte region will have an opportunity to connect at the upcoming Work in Quinte Career Fair.
The event, hosted by the Cities of Belleville and Quinte West, takes place Tuesday, October 6th, from 1 to 6 p.m. at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre.
Employers will showcase current job openings and connect directly with potential candidates. Opportunities will include both full and part-time positions across a variety of sectors.
Organizers say the event can also be an opportunity for people considering a career change to explore different roles and speak directly with recruiters.
Job seekers are encouraged to register online before the event to help avoid lineups. They are also asked to upload their resume to the Work in Quinte website ahead of time and bring printed copies to distribute to employers.
The list of participating employers is available online and will continue to be updated as more employers register.
Work in Quinte also operates as a free, year-round employment resource for the Bay of Quinte region. Job seekers can browse current postings and upload resumes to a searchable database, while employers can post openings and use the platform’s Applicant Tracking System.
