Leslie Roseblade is a lifelong Quinte West resident with more than three decades of municipal government experience and nine years of experience as a Quinte West city councillor representing Trenton Ward. Roseblade says she is seeking another term because she cares deeply about the community and wants to continue using her experience to make thoughtful and responsible decisions.
Priorities and Experience
Roseblade retired after a 33-year career in municipal government, during which she worked as a bylaw enforcement officer, community development program manager and parks and facilities manager. She says that experience has given her a broad understanding of municipal operations and the services residents rely on.
Her priorities include maintaining roads and municipal facilities, supporting local businesses and attracting good-paying jobs. She also wants to improve parks and recreation, protect local hospital services, and keep taxes and municipal services affordable. Roseblade says she is committed to listening to residents and working collaboratively when making decisions.
Why Quinte West
Roseblade’s connection to Quinte West extends across generations. Her adult children and their spouses, five grandchildren, and parents all live in the community. She says that family connection, along with her years serving residents, has strengthened her desire to help build a strong and welcoming community for future generations.
