The Bay of Quinte Classic Cruisers have once again turned their annual passion for classic cars into support for local causes.
The group presented $10,400 from its 2026 Auto Odyssey Car Show during a ceremony at Quinte West City Hall on Saturday. The money raised at the July 25 event will be split evenly between the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation and Fixed Fur Life.
The donation brings the eight-year total raised by the show to $71,000. The annual event, led by Classic Cruisers president Laurie Palmer, attracts classic car owners, enthusiasts and community members from across the region.
The hospital foundation uses donations to purchase essential equipment and support patient care at Trenton Memorial Hospital, while Fixed Fur Life provides veterinary care and helps find homes for animals in need.
Organizers are already preparing for next year’s event, with the ninth annual Auto Odyssey Car Show planned for July 24, 2027.
