A Belleville business is representing Canada on the world stage, celebrating new technologies and innovation in bookkeeping.
Cloud Bookkeeping Services is among five global finalists in the fourth annual Firm of the Future contest, hosted by Intuit Quickbooks. Their written submission has been chosen by a panel of qualified judges – Each finalist gets $5,000 and an all-expense paid trip to the annual conference in San Jose, California Nov. 5 to 7.
Operations Leader with Cloud Bookeeping Services Leanne Ballard says her team is honoured to be chosen as this year’s Canadian finalist.
They’ll compete against accounting, tax and bookkeeping firms from the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia and India.
She adds that the next step is to create a video, which the community can vote on Oct. 16 to 31.
The winner will be announced Nov. 5 – The business gets $25,000, while the client they mentioned in their written submission get $15,000. Show your support online, using #QBFirmOfTheFuture.
